Welcome to the Greater Hollywood Soccer League Website! The GHSL is one of the oldest soccer leagues in South Florida. Over the years our area covered has grown, to include teams from Northern Miami-Dade county to Southern Broward. We have clubs as far West as Western Miramar, and as far East as Hallandale Beach.
We are a sanctioned league by the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA). We hold a unique position in South Florida as the only FYSA sanctioned soccer league that offers inter-city "recreational" travel play. By playing for a park that is a member of the GHSL, your child gets to experience "travel soccer" regardless of skill level and without the need for tryouts, also with much less financial cost. That being said, play in our league is rather competitive, as many of our players move up in the program from a very young age.
We offer sanctioned divisions from U9 through U16. In most age groups we have separate divisions for boys and girls.
Although our league does not have sanctioned play in the U6 and U8
levels, many of our clubs do have children in these age groups. These teams play and practice in house at the club. As these ages are most important for the future development of the players, some
of our clubs may schedule friendly scrimmages during the normal soccer season in these age groups.

Club Reps: You MUST fax your rosters into the league 24 hours before the first game, to avoid a fine.
Coaches/Club reps MUST fax all rosters that indicate any RED card (against either team) within 24 hours.
Failure to do so will involve a fine and/or the SUSPENSION of the coach.

Game change procedures:
Game changes MUST be received by 8pm on the Tuesday preceding the game.
Please get in the habit of reviewing your schedules online every Wednesday, as that is when any agreed to changes will be posted.
To request a game change, you must first email the opposing team's club rep. The reps are listed on this webpage under "Club Contacts." If the other club agrees to the change, forward the email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Games will NOT just be "pulled" from the schedule, you must provide the new date, time, and location in your original request.
Any requests that come in after the deadline, or do not have BOTH clubs clearly authorizing a specific change, will NOT BE MADE.
A fine will be charged for any games that are not played, that are listed as of Wednesday morning. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you need to cancel a game late, please email the league as soon as you are aware. A fine will still be imposed ($100), but at least you will not waste the other team's time. Consider it a "cost of doing business." Please do not expect us to waive these fines, for any reason.
